Full-service floral design

Moonflower Design Co. provides full-service floral design and specializes in weddings. We love elevating your wedding day by curating the perfect combination of flowers, colors, and textures. Our designs are always foam-free and incorporate locally-grown flowers whenever possible.

We’re here to collaborate with you and create the best floral design concepts for your wedding. We prioritize quick and clear communication with our clients and offer design flexibility throughout the planning process for a stress-free experience.

What does “full-service” include?

Full-service means we take care of everything related to your wedding flowers from beginning to end. We’ll collaborate and discuss the high-level design, vibe, and color palette. Then, we will take care of all the tiny details and logistics on our end. We’re here to guide you every step of the way.

Full-service includes but is not limited to:

  • Responsive email communication

  • Video/phone consultations as needed

  • Fully custom design for you and your event

  • Curated rentals to accompany your florals

  • Delivery, set-up, installation, repurposing/flip

  • Breakdown and clean up

  • And more

Our Process

  • 4-5 months prior

    We will create a custom design board to align on all the visual elements and design direction. We will also curate a selection of hard goods such as ribbon, candles, and vases. We can make as many revisions as needed to make sure you feel great about the design.

  • 1-2 month prior

    Approximately 8 weeks before your wedding, we will reach out to start finalizing your proposal and logistics. Our goal is to have these details approved by the 30 day mark when the final payment is due. We cannot remove designs after this deadline but we can add or reallocate if necessary.

  • Wedding day

    We will deliver your personal flowers to the wedding party and get to work on your ceremony setup and installation. We will set-up any florals and rentals for the reception while also staying to repurpose ceremony flowers. Our team will return at the end of the night to pick up rented items such as vases, vessels, candles, and structures. You and your guests are welcome to take the flowers if you’d like.

Pearls of wisdom

Design changes

We’re flexible with changes until about 8 weeks before the wedding, when we need to start finalizing details and your invoice. If you changed your mind or other plans have evolved, just let us know! We will work together to revise the proposal and come up with new design solutions. The only caveat is that the final proposal cannot drop below 90% of the original contract.

Specific flowers

We can’t guarantee specific flower varieties but we will do our absolute best to source something particular if it’s meaningful to you. We prefer to focus on the color palette and overall vibe of the event. We will always stay true to those guidelines while sourcing blooms for your event. Last minute substitutions have to be made for every event due to variable market and seasonal availability.

Bouquet care

Keep your bouquet in water as much as possible during the wedding day to keep it fresh. We use the most special and delicate flowers in the primary bouquet and they tend to be more sensitive. We provide napkins for you to dry your bouquet stems and keep your attire dry.

Holding your bouquet

Pins indicate the back of the bouquet. Hold the bouquet low, by your bellybutton and tilt the stems towards you to showcase the blooms.
